Sex Offender Charged With Bilking Disabled West Seattle Man
Another from the PI.Com
In charging documents, King County prosecutors claim Joseph Anthony Iacolucci, 34, coerced the other man into taking out $8,500 in loans for his benefit and ran up nearly $6,500 in credit card charges on the man's credit card.
Iacolucci's victim, prosecutors contend, is a middle-aged man with the mental capacity similar to that of a 12-year-old. Despite his disability, the man has held a full-time job for nearly two decades at a grocery store.
"(He) is very trusting and will do anything anyone asks him to do so as to not disappoint them," Seattle Detective Pamela St. John said in charging documents.
That trust, prosecutors allege, allowed Iacolucci to bilk the man.
