By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee March 23, 2010

King County prosecutors have filed charges against a 26-year-old man who allegedly robbed a medical marijuana patient at gunpoint in his University District apartment earlier this month.

According to court documents, shortly before 11:00pm March 3rd,  Curtis Ladon Walker—who, records say, goes by the name "Doughboy"—was invited inside the victim's apartment in the 4500 block of 7th Ave NE.

Once inside, court documents say, Walker pulled out a handgun and stole $1,250 in cash, a wallet, a cell phone, a "gold diamond" ring, and a half-ounce of marijuana.

Documents say when a woman in the apartment attempted to intervene, Walker shoved her down and told her "I'm not fucking kidding." Walker then fled the apartment.

Six days later, detectives reviewed surveillance tapes from the apartment building and identified Walker, who has been charged with robbery and assault.

According to court records, Walker has a prior conviction for assault in Washington, as well as two convictions for drug possession in Ohio, and weapons and robbery charges in Minnesota.
