Woman Assaulted At South Seattle Car Wash

A Seattle woman is bruised and scared after a trip to the car wash ended with a violent assault on Sunday night in the Rainier Valley, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.
The 27-year-old Seattle woman said she was vacuuming her vehicle at the National Pride Car Wash on Rainier Avenue South when a man approached her and started to talk to her.
According to the police report, he "began striking her in the face with closed fists" and "she was knocked to the ground." He began striking her again and she tried to get back into her car. The man forced his way into her vehicle and then ran away.
