West Seattle Bank Robbery Foiled By Piece of Paper
Sometimes bank robberies go awry in hilarious ways.
On February 2nd, a robber walked into a bank in the 4200 block of SW Morgan Street and handed the teller a note. When the teller reached for the note the robber tried to pull away, and the note tore in half. This apparently threw the robber off his game, and he turned and ran from the bank.
It doesn't appear police arrested the easily-frightened robber, but officers collected his note as evidence.
