This Weekend in Crime

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee February 22, 2010

In case you missed out on the stuff we posted this weekend:

Police locked down several blocks surrounding the East Precinct after someone left a briefcase in the precinct's lobby. It turned out to be nothing.

A man was found dead in Powell Barnett Park early Saturday morning. Sources tell us the man was in possession of a crack pipe and police do not consider his death suspicious.

A Maple Leaf resident was critically injured after he stabbed while breaking up a car prowl.

Police fished a burglar out of a chimney in South Seattle Friday night.

And I normally wouldn't mention this as news, but I had a birthday which, one very amused police officer noted, is on 2/20.

220 is police code for a mental call. Ah, cop jokes.
