Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name.

On February 12th around 2:30 a.m. a woman approached officers on patrol near Rainier Ave S and Dearborn Street. A police report says the woman walked up to the officers' patrol car and "asked to go to jail."

The woman told officers she had warrants and "that she would spit on officers so she could go to jail."

While police ran the woman's name through their computer system, the report says the woman "decided to follow through with her threat, and spit" in one officer's face.

Police arrested the woman for assaulting an officer and took her to jail, just as she had asked.
