Prosecutors File Charges In Attempted Armored Car Robbery
Prosecutors have filed attempted robbery charges against a man who shot three times by an armored car guard outside of a South Seattle McDonald's last weekend.
Blake Lawrence Kirvin remained hospitalized Wednesday as King County prosecutors filed charges alleging that Kirvin attempted to grab the guard's money bag. Kirvin was shot as he struggled with the guard during the Sunday morning incident.
The guard told officers that he feared for his life when he shot Kirvin three times.
Court records show the Kirvin has a long rap sheet, comprised mostly of drug charges.
