A female cyclist was injured in a collision with a patrol car at 12th and Jackson at about 8:45 a.m. this morning.

We're still working to get details on the incident, but it appears the cyclist sustained a broken leg in the crash.

SPD traffic investigators are on-scene.

UPDATE: SPD says the female cyclist is 59 years old and sustained "possible neck and back injuries." The officer involved in the collision was not injured.
