Police say a 61-year-old woman was robbed in the 600 Blk of 6^th Ave. S this morning.

From the Blotter:

n 2/9/10, at appromiately 6:00 a.m., officers came across a 61- year- old victim of a purse snatch in the The victim said that she was walking to the bus when two males walked up, and pushed her over and took her black bag and left. The bag contained $8, a bus pass and keys.

Officers conducted an area search for the suspects with negative results. The victim was provided a ride home and was also given a bus pass by a metro supervisor.

Update: There's some (kinda understandable) griping in the comments about my usage of "elderly." I blame SPD, who called the woman elderly in their headline. Also, I'm 26, so anything over 30 is, in fact, elderly.
