This Might Come As a Shock, So I Hope You're Sitting Down: Police were called to the scene of an Assault on 3rd and Pine late last month...which was apparently drug related! On December 27th, police received a report about two men fighting at the always-lively intersection of 3rd and Pine. At the scene, the victim—who was bleeding from his mouth and nose—reluctantly spoke with officers. He told police that another man had approached him and asked him in Spanish if he wanted to buy drugs. The first man refused, which apparently sparked a fight. The man was taken to Harborview following the incident. Police were unable to locate the suspect.
