Here's info on a few robberies/thefts from around the city. SPD just released reports for all these incidents late last week.
January 19th, Downtown: A woman reported that her bag containing "valuable pieces of jewelry and a medical breast prosthesis" was stolen from the Greyhound bus station on 8th and Stewart.
January 18th, Lower Queen Anne: A promoter at Club Diamond—located in the 300 block of 5th Ave N—was robbed inside the club by an 18-year-old man who pushed him down and stole his cell phone. The man chased after the robber but was unable to catch up to him. The victim went home and called police.
January 15th, South Seattle: A man ran inside Cleveland High School and told officers working off-duty at a basketball game that he'd been carjacked at gun point. The man told police he was parked outside the school's gym when two other men approached him, put a gun to his head and demanded his vehicle. The report says the victim told the robbers "he was ready to die" and to "go ahead and shoot if he was going to kill him." The victim eventually handed over the car and the suspects drove off.
January 14th, Columbia City: A man was sitting at a bus stop at 12th Ave S and S Welker when another man approached him and asked him for one of the beers he was carrying. A fight broke out and the second man pulled a knife and slashed the victim on his hand. Police searched the area but did not find the man with the knife. He is described as a 25-year-old Indian male.
