Police Accountability Hearing Tonight

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee January 26, 2010

The City Council and Office of Professional Accountability Review Board are hosting a public hearing on Seattle's police accountability system tonight at city hall.

The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in Seattle City Hall Council Chambers. Get there early if you want to sign up for public comment.

The hearing comes in advance of upcoming labor talks between the city and Seattle Police Officer's Guild. If you've got ideas about improvements to Seattle's police oversight, tell the council about it so they can try to negotiate it SPD's contract later this year.
