Man Shot at 2nd and Yesler - UPDATE
A man was found with a gunshot wound to the stomach shoulder in Pioneer Square this morning just before 2 AM. Police are clearing the 'Sunken Ship' parking garage near 2nd and Yesler. The victim and those with him are being 'uncooperative' according to police radio chatter.

Shooting Assault downtown, suspect(s) at largeOn January 18th at approximately 1:56 a.m. officers were monitoring a crowd near Second Avenue and James Street when they heard gunshots coming from around the corner. Officers quickly responded on foot to the 150 block of Yesler Way where they found a male victim in his 20’s with a gunshot wound to the torso.SFD Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Thus far no witnesses have come forward. The suspect(s), who we have no description of at this time, remain at large.Homicide detectives have been notified and will be conducting the follow up investigation, which is standard procedure in any assault involving a deadly weapon. Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspect(s) is asked to call 911 immediately.
