Harvard Confirms Nickels Fellowship

By Erica C. Barnett January 11, 2010

Harvard's Kennedy School has confirmed a story we broke on PubliCola a week ago: Former mayor Greg Nickels will serve as a resident fellow at the school's Institute of Politics next semester. Other resident fellows in this year's class include Manny Diaz, the former mayor of Miami; M.C. Andrews, former head of global communications for George W. Bush, and Michèle Pierre-Louis, the former prime minister of Haiti.

Former city council member Peter Steinbrueck, who was in town last week for Mayor Mike McGinn's inauguration, is also doing a fellowship at Harvard this year, at the university's graduate school of design.
