We're told that SPD Harbor Patrol has recovered a body in the water near Fremont. The body was apparently in the "advanced stages of decay" and police have called for the Medical Examiner.

UPDATE: SPD spokeswoman Renee Witt says a woman found the body just west of the Fremont Bridge and called police. Witt says police found a man in his 30s, who has been in the water "a considerable amount of time."
