60-Year-Old Man Shot in Central District

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee January 5, 2010

Seattle police are looking for a suspect in an early morning shooting in the Central District near the Seattle University campus.

Police say they first reports of gunfire at 3:13 this morning near 15th an Alder. When officers arrived, they found a 60-year-old man who had been shot in the legs and back.

The man was only able to give police a vague description of the shooter: a black male in his teens or twenties.

Police say the man's wounds are not life-threatening.

This wasn't the only shooting last night. Police confirm that a man walked into Swedish with a gunshot wound at about 6:30 last night. We'll try and get more details on both of these shootings.
