Woman of the Year

Forget Ben Bernanke; as Salon's Broadsheet points out, Time
hasn't had a single female "Person of the Year" since it changed the title from "Man of the Year" in 1999 (and the last time a woman got the title was in 1986, when Corazon Aquino was named "Man of the Year.")

They asked feminist bloggers for some suggestions. My favorites? Hillary Clinton (duh), Sonia Sotomayor, Rachel Maddow, and, as Feministing
's Ann Friedman put it, "Rah rah ah ah ah roma romama gaga ooh lala. Duh."

Nice.
