THEESastisfaction's Icing on the Cake

By Jonathan Cunningham December 1, 2009

It's no secret that the Cola has a lot of love for the ladies of THEESatisfaction. Maybe it's because they're one of the most artistic and original hip-hop groups in the city. Or maybe it's that they grew out of the magical Hidmo scene, Seattle's blossoming urban music venue. Whatever it is, they rock, and we're going to keep updating you because THEESatisfaction are a must-follow.

They recently released a new single called "Icing" that's starting to catch fire across the web. They made it with local producer OC Notes who not only raps but provides the beat on the song as well.

It's undeniable that the shining moment of "Icing" is when THEESatis' lead MC, Stasia, raps: "I'm just Christing, I said I'm doing just fine, I'm just Christing, like I just left church nigga, I'm trying."

They've given new meaning to having a god-like flow.  You can download the song here.

THEESatisfaction performs on Friday, Dec. 4 at the Crocodile as part of the Go! Machine.
