The Morning Blotter: "a baby stroller in the alley that was on fire"
Burning Babymobile/Belltown: An arsonist apparently used a stroller to set a fire in a Belltown alley last week, a police report says. According to the report, on December 3rd, a parking enforcement officer working near 1st and Virginia spotted "a baby stroller in [an] alley that was on fire." Police put out the fire, but not before the small blaze damaged the wall of a nearby building. At the scene, a woman told police she'd left her stroller in the alley while she took her child into a nearby kids dance studio. The report says a witness captured video of the fire on a cell phone camera, but it does not appear that anyone saw who set the fire.
