Teens Who Allegedly Attacked Man, Stole His iPhone Arrested and In Custody
Four teens who allegedly stole a Metro bus passenger's iPhone yesterday and then beat him up when he put up a fight were arrested by police late last night and are currently being held in a youth detention facility.
According to probable cause documents released today, as the group of teens got up to exit the Metro bus at Renton Ave. S and S. Henderson St., one of them tried to grab the iPhone out of the victim's hands as he sat near the front of the bus, playing a video game. The victim initially resisted, and the two wrestled over the phone until the rest of the group joined in, punching the victim repeatedly in the face.
After the incident the Metro driver flagged down a police officer who to took the victim to a South Seattle location where he was able to positively identify four teenage suspects police had detained as the one's who assaulted him and stole his phone.
One detail of note in the report: one of the suspects apparently used/has used the alias "Pee Wee Clown."
