By Brian Slodysko December 1, 2009

A woman scalping tickets to the Real Salt Lake vs. Los Angles Galaxy MLS soccer game on November 22nd, was assaulted by a man who became disenchanted with his purchase of one of the two tickets she was selling for the Sunday match.

According to a police report, the woman sold a ticket to the man for $50 near the corner of Occidental and King St.,  and then the man became irritable, following her as she walked away from him,  complaining that she stole some of his money and gave him the wrong ticket. The woman then gave the man back his $50, but he still followed her, pushing her a dozen times while continuing to argue. At one point the man stuck the woman in the face, inflicting a half-inch long gash to her chin.

Police working traffic near Qwest field were notified and the suspect was contacted. The woman plans to press charges, according to the report.
