I've been delinquent about posting a "Comment of the Day" lately. It's not that there haven't been some excellent comments, it's just been hectic around here these days.

Let's kick things off again with this comment on yesterday's post about WSDOT's special treatment of the viaduct collapse video request. (Instead of usual protocol—turning over the request to the person who made the request—WSDOT posted the findings on their website and officially leaked it to the media. That is unprecedented policy.)
