Police Shut Down 10th Ave Near Roanoke After Bomb Threat

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee December 31, 2009

Police have shut down 10th Avenue just south of Roanoke Street after receiving a report about a possible bomb on a Metro bus.

More info coming.

UPDATE: CHS is at the scene and says information about the suspicious package/possible bomb came from the bus driver.

UPDATE x2: Just heard an officer over the radio saying that traffic will be opening up shortly. Pretty sure this was about 10th Ave but waiting to see for sure.

UPDATE x3 @ 6:37: Sounds like traffic's being reopened. No word yet on what sparked all of this.

Have a safe NYE, folks!
