Seattle police are looking for a group of bicycle-riding teens believed to be involved in at least one robbery in the south end.

Police took a report from a woman late last month after she was nearly robbed while walking home along the Chief Sealth Trail.

According to a police report, the woman was dropped off by a friend at the 3000 block of South Graham Street "after dark" on November 30th. The woman told officers she saw five 15 to 16-year old teens and riding their bikes along Graham.

As the woman walked along the trail, the group of teens "circled [the woman] on a dark section of the trail" and followed her. "One of the males rode in front while the three males and female rode behind [the woman]," the report says.

The boy riding in front of the woman stopped and blocked her path, the report says, and tried to rip her purse off of her arm. While they struggling, one of the teens riding behind the woman rammed their bike into her leg, injuring her. The woman fought the teens off and was able to flee to a nearby home.

Police searched the area around New Holly but were unable to locate the teens. However, New Holly housing security told officers that they've also received reoports about "teens on bikes roaming the neighborhood" but couldn't provide any further information.
