Police Break Up Pioneer Square Brawl Started By Man Urinating In Public
A very intoxicated man, visiting Seattle with the express purpose of getting hammered in Pioneer Square bars, caused a multi-person brawl after he micturated within close proximity to a woman whose boyfriend took umbrage with the man's close-peeing.
Differing accounts were provided by both parties involved in the December 17th brouhaha, but according to the enraged boyfriend, his girlfriend and a few friends were enjoying a cigarette in an alleyway near Occidental Ave. S and S. Washington St., when the offending urinator walked up, exposed his penis to them and proceeded to take a piss.
This apparently made the women uncomfortable, prompting the potvaliant boyfriend to defend their honor, confronting the man in an altercation that grew heated.
The boyfriend said he then walked a short distance away to assemble his friends for a fight. The urinator's friends also became involved, and the two groups brawled in a nearby parking lot until police arrived.
In the report, the obviously-intoxicated urinator claimed the woman's boyfriend was the aggressor, approaching him and punching him for no reason.
For his part, the enraged boyfriend did not deny starting the fight, but said rather that he had a very specific reason for confronting the man—primarily that the man showed his wiener to his girlfriend and then proceeded to piss.
One of the men (presumably the urinator) had a laceration on the top of his head, abrasions to his face and comlained of kindey pain.
The other man had a cut above his left eye and an abrasion on his face.
Police broke the fight up, remaining at the scene until they were sure the groups had dissipated.
No arrests were made.
