A delivery driver for A PizzaMart was assaulted and robbed of two pizzas and two orders of bread sticks, after he got out of his car to deliver to a University District residence on 21st St. NE — an address, he told police, where he's been robbed of the store's marginal-yet-cheap pizza at in the past. 

According to a report, when the driver stepped out of his car, the individual who phoned in the order grabbed the pizzas and ran off. The delivery driver gave chase, eventually grabbing the thief, who then dropped the order. At that point two other suspects, who had been hiding nearby, came to their friend's assistance, shoving the delivery driver to the ground before they began to punch and kick him. The suspects (and presumably the pizza) then fled east towards 22nd Ave NE.

The delivery driver gave police the suspects cellphone number  and said he could identify photos of the suspects. 

For their part, police recommended that the driver and A Pizzamart not accept orders from that phone number/address in the future.
