On December 6th at approximately 7:30 pm, an unknown male suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his backpack and cellphone near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and South Kenyon.  The suspect then fired one shot into the air as he was fleeing the scene.  The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound on Martin Luther King Jr. Way.  The suspect is described as a black male, 5-08, medium complexion, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.  He was armed with a handgun.  South Precinct officers and a K9 responded to the scene but did not locate the suspect.
