Northgate: An Ingraham High School student was punched in the face by a schoolmate with a chain wrapped around her fist, who accused the victim of trying to steal her boyfriend. According to a police report, on Thursday December 3rd, the victim was followed off a bus by her classmate at the Northgate Mall transit center and challenged to a fight. The victim tried to walk away, but the other girl struck her in the face, inflicting cuts to the inside of her mouth and swelling to the side of her face.

The victim's mother told police that the two have gotten into it before, when the same classmate attacked her daughter at school, hitting the her with an elbow. School officials apparently decided that the elbow attack was an accident, and suspended the victim for saying that she would hit the other girl back if she attacked her again.

Maple Leaf:  A woman was kicked in the shin by another woman while jogging near 100th St. NE and 4th Ave. NE., on Friday, December 4th. According to a police report, the attacker appeared to be reading a road sign as the victim jogged by, but as she passed, the woman turned to her yelling "You bitch" and "Move back to Idaho," before kicking her. The victim continued on her route, later flagging down a Metro bus driver, who told her that the woman who attacked her lived nearby and was known for causing disturbances. The driver offered the woman his cellphone to call the police but she declined.

Downtown: A man was very drunk while sparing for change outside the Pine St. Old Navy store when he was kicked in the ribs by two fellow change-sparers, late last week. The two men apparently approached the man and had struck up a conversation, when one of the men, out-of-the-blue, decided to kick the victim. He fled in an unknown direction. Medics treated the highly intoxicated man's ribs at the scene.

South Seattle: A man was hit in the face and his toy train is now broken, following a confrontation with an unknown male, who apparently entered  his apartment to swipe the locomotive from his bedside table.  According to a police report, the victim woke up around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, December 2nd, to the sound of footsteps in his bedroom and noticed his choo-choo was gone. When he confronted the man in the apartment hallway, the man turned around and hit the victim in the face with the toy train, causing the wheels to break off, and inflicting several cuts to the victim's face. The man fled and nothing else was taken from the apartment.
