Seattle detectives are investigating an armed robbery in Maple Leaf, which for those not in the know is an awesome, tiny little 'hood between Northgate and Lake City.

Last night, a man wearing a black mask, blue jeans, a gray hoodie, and gloves walked into a store in the 9000 block of Roosevelt Way NE (where I used to work!) carrying a chrome pistol. He demanded money from the clerk, and then fled. The clerk told police they saw a white SUV possibly fleeing the scene.

Lame.
