University of Washington students received a campus alert last night following an armed robbery at University Village. The alert says the robbery took place near Mrs. Cooks at about 7:15 p.m.

The suspect—described as a white male in his mid-20s, 6' tall, with beard and mustache, and wearing a tan jacket—was last seen fleeing westbound on 45th Street.

The alert does not indicate what kind of weapon was used in the robbery or whether anyone was injured.
