You don't see too many Assault W/Weapons 14 calls pop up on the 911 map, so when I woke up this morning and saw a giant flashing red blip had swallowed up the waterfront, I figured something bad must have happened overnight.

Fortunately, that's not the case. SPD says they had a false report of a shooting in the 2900 block of Western Ave. Carry on.
