A source says one of the suspects may have been armed, but gave no indication of whether shots were fired.

According to court records, one of the suspects, a 39-year-old man appears to have a long rap sheet, including convictions for theft, car prowling, failure to obey officers, possession of stolen property, possession of contraband, several counts of driving with a suspended license, obstruction, burglary, and car theft.
