Man Arrested In SoDo Murder
With all of the attention being paid to the as-yet-unsolved murder of Officer Timothy Brenton, a speedy arrest in another Seattle Police Department homicide investigation almost went unnoticed.
On Wednesday morning, Seattle police were called to a transient camp near Airport Way, South Lucile Street, and Corson Avenue South after receiving a report about a dead body at the site. Officers found 46-year old covered in a blanket, who had obvious signs of blunt force trauma. Police fanned out and talked to other people in the camp, and identified a 43-year-old man as a suspect in the murder.
He was booked into the King County Jail. We'll have more later today.
