Police in South Seattle are also investigating reports of gunfire. Police and neighbors heard between 10-14 shots near 51st and Rainier around 11:00 p.m. A motorist reported that one of their tires was shot out. At first, police thought the shots were fired from a BB gun, but it appears they now believe someone was firing a .45 caliber handgun. Officers are looking for a group of 10-15 teens and young men, who split up near 59th and S. Pilgrim. Police recovered a gun about a block away.
