The boys of Fresh Espresso have been quite busy lately. Just last week, the group's eclectic lead producer, P Smoov, released Face Scrunchers Vol. 1 as a free mixtape download. It's 39 minutes of previously unreleased material that smashes up glitch, synthed-out electro, and hip-hop beats in a style that only a controlled schizo producer like P Smoov could pull off.
And this morning, the whole Fresh Espresso crew released a video for their latest single, "Big or Small," and it's impressive. It's hard to determine what stands out the most here: Rik Rude's Miami Vice style raps, P Smoov's beats, or the camera and editing work by video director Stephan Gray .
