As If 30-0 Apple Cup Shut Out Wasn't Rough Enough...

By Jonah Spangenthal-Lee November 28, 2009

Police are now scouring the University of Washington campus for robbery suspects after a man—who it sounds like was a Cougar fan—was robbed of $140 and his iPhone on NE Pacific Street.

Police had a group of five men in custody a few minutes ago, but there's a lot of post-Apple Cup craziness going on near UW, so we're not sure if they're suspects in the robbery.

Have a safe Saturday night, folks.

UPDATE: A few minutes after I posted this, UW sent out this notice:

"Armed robbery at 15th Ave NE and NE Pacific. 5 suspects still at large. Last seen heading east on Pacific.  Stay alert."

So there you go. Seattlecrime.com: a better source for UW crime news than the school itself!
