Sorry for the disappearing act this weekend. I was speaking at a journalism conference at the University of Oregon yesterday, and I didn't have any time to tend to the site.

My train pulled back into King Street station last night just as the cannon blasts and cheers were rocking Qwest Field next door. The Sounders FC had just won 2-1 over Dallas, securing at least the third seed in the playoffs.

SoundersNerd was there. We'll post his report as soon as we can.
