Prices for tonight's Mike McGinn, Pete Holmes, and Dow Constantine fundraiser at the Crocodile have been lowered to  as little as $25 (down from the previous $200 minimum). The McGinn camp says the price was cut to allow campaign volunteers and others without a lot of money to attend.

Promoter Dave Meinert, however, says the $200 was always just a suggested donation, although that was left off the posters and ads for the event by mistake.

Making matters more confusing, McGinn's campaign is requesting that people who pay less than the suggested $200, volunteer for the Referendum 71 campaign (a "yes" vote preserves domestic partnership rights for gay couples), although the other campaigns aren't.
