The reading to see tonight is at Elliott Bay. Seattle author Ryan Boudinot is reading from Misconception: A Novel (his first), about a man named Cedar Rivers who's asked by a former girlfriend to read her memoir, which is not only about him, but partially told from his point of view. Boudinot's style is sweet and funny (the book opens: "I was suspended in the eighth grade for bringing my semen to science class.") and he's even better live.
