Seattle Times reporter Jim Brunner had a nice scoop yesterday: Veteran local fundraiser Colby Underwood (a longtime fundraiser for Mayor Greg Nickels) has signed on with mayoral candidate Joe Mallahan's campaign—an event foretold by the soothsayers at Morning Fizz.

The news adds to some timely reporting over at the Seattle P-I, which documents how Seattle's "power structure" is coalescing around T-Mobile executive Mallahan.
