Bumbershoot Books: Spencer Moody's Literary Friends

The Anne Bonny, Spencer Moody's whatnot shop at 534 Summit Ave. E., has become sort of a mini-hub for the young Seattle alt-lit scene. Moody, probably better known as the front man for the Murder City Devils, has assembled a few of his local musician friends, who also happen to be accomplished writers, for "The Enablers Have Spoken and You're Fine."
On the program:
Anthony Anzalone, poet (published by Teenage Teardrop Press) from the band Mikki and the Mouses.
Clyde Petersen, "queercore and hot makeout parties, the place where unicorn and pegasus combine into one," singer and guitarist for Heart Breaks.
Patrick deWitt, author of Help Yourself Help Yourself and Ablutions: Notes for a Novel .
Andrea Zollo, who has played music with Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Deathwish Kids, Area 51, and Triumph of Lethargy.
Pete Quirk, poet and playwright from The Cave Singers.
Gavin Tull-Esterbrook, bassist for Constant Lovers and the author of Shoots.
