At Jordan Royer's Party
Rebecca Tapscott here.
At the party for Position 8 candidate Jordan Royer—currently coming in third to former Sierra Club leader Mike O'Brien and three-time candidate Robert Rosencrantz—two supporters, neither associated with the campaign, explained why they supported the former mayoral staffer for city council. One, who lived in Lake City, said she thought Royer would emphasize pedestrian infrastructure.
The other noted Royer's "balanced policies," and cited Northgate as a good example of a well-developed neighborhood/community.
Royer is currently at 15 percent to Rosencrantz's 19 percent (O'Brien has nearly 36 percent of the vote).
