Looking for a unique way to celebrate Independence Day? Do it with Jean-Luc Godard.

Made in U.S.A. is Godard's tribute to that uniquely American genre, the film noir. More specifically, it honors Howard Hawks' classic The Big Sleep, and stars Godard's then-wife Anna Karina as the femme fatale.
Surprisingly, this film has never appeared on TV, video, or DVD, and makes its long-overdue Seattle premiere this week. Don't miss it.
Plays July 3-8 at the Northwest Film Forum, 7:00 and 9:00pm.
