Contributions and Expenditures of the Day

By Erica C. Barnett July 28, 2009

The city candidates' monthly contribution and expenditure reports are rolling in. Because most candidates have yet to file, I'm going to focus on the crowded race for Position 8 (the seat Richard McIver is vacating) and expenditures by a few local PACs representing landlords, realtors, and police.

Interestingly, despite raising more than any other candidate, Robert Rosencrantz has a negative balance on-hand; Jordan Royer, meanwhile, has nearly $27,000 going into the August 18 primary.
