In a race were endorsements from prominent politicos are a big deal (all four Democratic candidates run in the same Democratic circles), Fred Jarrett has scored twice today.

Earlier today, former Seattle Mayor Charles Royer endorsed Jarrett, the Eastside state senator who's running for K.C. Executive. 

And this afternoon, former Seattle City Council Member Martha Choe endorsed him. 

Choe is currently the chief administrative officer for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The endorsements come just hours in advance of the big showdown in Belltown. The candidates are debating at 6:30 tonight at the Seattle Labor Temple, 2800 1st Ave.
