Sally Clark's Office Does Not Deny Rumors About Possible Run for Mayor

I just called Seattle City Council Member Sally Clark's office about a rumor I heard today—that she was thinking about jumping into the mayor's race against Greg Nickels.
Her office did not dismiss the rumor. "Sally will not be making an announcement in the foreseeable future," a spokesperson told me.
They would not, however, define "foreseeable future."
The current field includes: Incumbent Mayor Gregg Nickels; Sierra Club leader (and biker) Mike McGinn; former Sonic James Donaldson; and matchmaking service founder, Norman Sigler.
And everyone is still waiting on former City Council Member Peter Steinbrueck to say whether he's in or out.
