Over the weekend a Nosh reader wrote in that Steven Spielberg—he of ET, Indiana Jones, Schindler's List, the upcoming Lincoln, and scores of other impressive cinematic feats—was spotted dining at Hitchcock on Saturday night.

Indeed, chef Brendan McGill posted the photo above on Facebook and reported that the film legend was "rolling with Welsh poet David Whyte" and the group was celebrating the birthday of Spielberg's wife, Kate Capshaw. What, no cupcakes?
