It’s the Party No Seattle Food Lover Should Miss

And how do we know the food will be so good? Because we handpicked the chefs for their talent.
Three years ago Seattle Met food and drink editor Allecia Vermillion had a killer idea: What if we scoured the city’s restaurants to find the next generation of household names?
The Ethans and the Toms and the Renees you know…but what about the folks toiling in stations beneath them—the chefs and sous chefs and, yes, line cooks whose nightly labors add up to the steady consistency that turns a good restaurant into a great one? Next Hot Chefs was born. In this city the turnaround time between being a lesser-known talent and a marquee name is getting shorter and shorter. We’re doing our part to dispense with it altogether.
So Allecia and I scoured the city and, armed with your nominations, wound up with these five stunning talents. They will provide the food for a party in their honor to be held Thursday, June 25 from 6 to 9pm on the rooftop of the new luxury high-rise Premiere on Pine.
