Beer Class at Marination Ma Kai
Wondering what beers pair with turkey? Marination Ma Kai has you covered. The Alki Beach restaurant is hosting a tasting and dinner beer class from 6 to 8, taught by cicerone Robyn Schumacher, for $25. Tacos or sliders will accompany the five-beer tasting, and a raffle entry for a pint glass.

2012 Seattle Turkey Trot
It’s Thanksgiving. So there’s that…plus the sixth annual Seattle Turkey Trot starts bright and early at 9 above Golden Gardens Park. Why not burn some premeal calories running—walking, or trotting—while supporting the Ballard Food Bank? It’s a win-win. Sign up online for $30 (would have been cheaper but it’s now considered late registration), $20 for children 10 and younger.

Stone Soup for Kick Hunger Challenge
For the second annual Stone Soup event, trophy-winning chowder will be dispensed by chef John Howie and former Seahawk now lead singer Craig Terrill from 11 to 2 by in front of the Whole Foods on Westlake. Tickets are $10 with 100 percent of the proceeds donated towards the NFL's Kick Hunger Challenge.

Pop-Up Dinner at Olivar
Irbille Edibles, a catering company owned by Olivar former sous chef Irbille Donia, will be serving modern and contemporary Filipino food from 5 to 10. Always at the Mediterranean eatery the last Monday of every month, the pop-up dinner offers small shareable dishes ranging from $8 to $17.

November 30 Experience Chateau Ste. Michelle’s holiday tree-lighting event from 5:30 to 6:30 with music and free hot cider. Stay a little longer for Saint Nick’s at Night Wine Tasting from 7 to 9:30. For $50, taste wines from 40 wineries and savory treats.
