Poppy and Terra Plata shake up their Monday menus, JuiceBox bunks up with La Bête, and a $999.99 Salty's gift card up for grabs.

Kari Brunson and Brandin Myett, the Ethan Stowell alums behind JuiceBox, are setting up a longterm pop-up inside La Bête. Beginning November 8, the duo will serve fresh presses, blended drinks, and hot elixirs from 7am to 1pm on Thursdays and Fridays and from 10 to 3 during weekend brunch.

On November 5, Terra Plata celebrates one year with free glasses of sangria and a new Monday bill dedicated to Spanish cuisine. Each week starting at 5pm the restaurant will serve several types of paella plus Iberico charcuterie, cheeses, tapas, and Spanish-inspired cocktails.

Masala Monday returns to Poppy on November 5 and 12. The special menu finds the kitchen taking a break from thalis to cook more traditional Indian dishes.

Learn to temper, mold, and dip dark, milk, and white chocolates during a hands-on class at Ben Affleck–endorsed Theo Chocolate on Wednesday evening from 7 to 10. Tickets are $78 but check out other classes for combo deals.

Fremont Avenue Cellars and Laurelhurt Wine Merchants are among the establishments hosting the Wine Century Club. The group is aiming to try the thousands of wine varietals out there and is setting up structured tasting sessions around the country. Upcoming events are listed on both locations’ calendars.

Salty’s has planted nine nutcrackers around Seattle and is dropping clues to their whereabouts via social media. When you spot one, take a photo with the seven-foot-tall statue and post it on Facebook. The more you post the greater your chances to win a $999.99 Salty’s gift card.
